A Lot About You

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Game Producer to lead the development and production of Yahoo Games first-party original games and to manage the integration of third-party games into the Yahoo Games platform. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end production management—partnering closely with Product Management, Game Design, Engineering, and Creative teams, as well as external partners, to bring high-quality casual games to market.

This role blends strong production rigor with a deep love of games and player experience and is critical to delivering a predictable, high-quality pipeline of both 1P and 3P games.

Your Day at Yahoo
  • Own production management for Yahoo Games first-party original games from concept through live operations.

  • Partner with Product Management and Game Design to define the game vision, core loop, features, and scope.

  • Assess game scope to determine feasibility against timelines.

  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones across design, engineering, art, QA, and live ops.

  • Organize and coordinate internal teams and external development partners to ensure smooth execution.

  • Manage the end-to-end process for third-party game integrations, including intake, scheduling, coordination with external developers, and internal readiness.

  • Work closely with Engineering, QA, Legal, Privacy, and Security teams to ensure third-party games meet Yahoo standards and requirements.

  • Drive Agile workflows, including backlog management, story generation, sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and asset creators to resolve dependencies and unblock delivery.

  • Manage QA processes to ensure high-quality releases across desktop and mobile web platforms.

  • Support live operations post-launch, including updates, bug fixes, content refreshes, and performance tuning.

  • Communicate status, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Champion quality, player experience, and sustainable development practices throughout production.

You Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience as a Game Producer or in a production role within the games industry.

  • Proven experience shipping casual games, ideally on desktop and mobile web platforms.

  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines, Agile methodologies, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

  • Experience working with both internal teams and external development partners.

  • Experience managing third-party integrations or external partner workflows.

  • Ability to create and manage complex project plans while adapting to changing priorities.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Experience overseeing QA and supporting live operations for shipped games.

  • A deep passion for making great games and delivering high-quality player experiences.

  • Proficiency with Jira and managing projects through the software.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on daily games or live-ops driven products.

  • Familiarity with browser-based game development constraints and performance considerations.

  • Experience collaborating closely with product managers in a product-led organization.

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,750.00 - $188,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
