Citi Treasury Investments (CTI): CTI is responsible for managing Citi Treasury’s central liquidity and investment portfolios, executing the foreign exchange hedge program and providing internal US dollar financing to other trading desks. CTI manages the USD interest rate risk for Citi’s accrual business (i.e. ex trading) to achieve Citi’s desired rate position. CTI is also responsible for third party funding, such as the issuance of benchmark debt and structured notes, Credit Card securitizations, and liability management exercises (exchange offers, defeasance, etc.) for all capital securities issued through Citigroup Inc. and CBNA.

The FX & International Markets (FXIM) team within CTI is responsible for:

Overseeing FX hedging activities for Citi’s Net Investment, and; Conducting Non-US dollar sovereign bond investments and associated FX and interest rate hedges, and; Managing foreign exchange risk for Citi’s non-US dollar debts, and; Overseeing non-US dollar capital investment in major countries

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct FX markets analysis for major DM and EM countries, such as central bank policies, fiscal policies, global trade flow, geopolitical events and cross asset class correlation; Assist FX and rates derivative transactions for FX capital hedging, bond investments and non-USD debt issuance hedging; Maintain reports of the investment and hedging activities to Senior Management and regulators; Help develop and maintain scenario-based risk monitoring framework for all net investment hedge and bond investment related limits and triggers; Monitor and evaluate performance of Citi versus Peers and track competitors’ net investment hedge; Conduct FXIM’s digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a finance-focused discipline from a top tier university;
  • good understanding on macro, FX, and rates markets, or trading/booking systems;
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively across different groups in different regions; Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • High energy, self-starter with a desire to show creative ideas and continued progress;
  • Good project management skills, and strong ability to manage multiple projects independently and develop reports and presentations;
  • Strong Power Point and Excel skills;
  • Python skills would be a plus;
