What We Look For in Future Sales Engineer Hires

We regularly seek professionals with:

  • Pre-sales or solutions engineering experience in SaaS or EdTech

  • Strong knowledge of networking, cloud environments, or cybersecurity fundamentals

  • Comfort presenting technical solutions to school district leaders and IT administrators

  • Experience supporting Account Executives with demos, discovery, and RFPs

  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into customer outcomes

  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Zoom, cloud platforms, and ticketing systems

  • A confident communicator with technical depth and customer empathy

  • Energized by fast-paced team collaboration and the opportunity to support mission-driven solutions

  • Comfortable adapting messaging across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Curious and solutions-focused, with a desire to make a tangible difference in K–12 education
