Fundraising Coordinator

THE OPPORTUNITYReporting to the Director of Development, the Grants Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting and scaling ANet’s fundraising efforts. This role will strengthen the effectiveness and reach of the Development team by managing grant operations, supporting proposal development, and ensuring strong financial and data infrastructure across our portfolio.
The Grants Coordinator will support region-specific and national fundraising efforts, contribute to the development of high-quality proposals and assets, and help prepare ANet’s systems to pursue more complex funding streams, including federal grants and awards with rigorous research and measurement requirements. This role will also play a key part in maintaining the integrity of Salesforce pipeline tracking and ensuring accurate alignment between fundraising and financial data.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Grant Development & Fundraising Support (40%)
- Support prospect research to support regional and national fundraising strategies
- Support the development of grant proposals, reports, and supporting assets—helping translate ANet’s work into compelling, fundable narratives
- Support preparation of briefing materials to support leadership in funder outreach
- Track deadlines and deliverables across multiple grants to ensure nothing slips through the cracks
Salesforce & Pipeline Coordination (30%)
- Maintain and improve Salesforce pipeline tracking to ensure accuracy and usability
- Support efforts to prevent double counting across philanthropic revenue and sales/fundraising pipelines
- Ensure data integrity across fundraising records, including opportunity tracking and reporting
- Generate basic reports and insights to support Development team decision-making
Financial & Administrative Grant Support (30%)
- Support the development of grant proposal budgets
- Track grant-related expenses, ensuring costs are coded accurately and align with approved grant budgets
- Assist with grant budget monitoring, including preparing basic variance reports and flagging discrepancies or potential over- or under-spending
- Maintain and update personnel allocation trackers to ensure staff are funded appropriately across multiple grants
- Maintain organized documentation of grant budgets, financial reports, and supporting materials to ensure audit readiness and compliance
- Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure strong alignment between grant budgets, reporting, and organizational financial systems
In order to be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:
- Able to use effective written and verbal communication with internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Able to break down work tasks/projects into process steps and execute effectively.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
- Strong relationship-building skills
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in nonprofit development, grants management, operations, or a related field
- Experience supporting grant writing, reporting, or fundraising operations
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data tracking
- Strong organizational and project management skills
Preferred:
- Experience with grant budgeting or financial tracking
- Background in education or education nonprofits

The salary range for this position is between $53,040 - $80,620. New hires will start between the range minimum and midpoint $53,040 - $66,310.40 based on qualifications assessed during the hiring process, past experience, and internal equity.
