POSITION SUMMARY

This Functional Solution Architect role is responsible for translating customer business processes and initiatives into scalable, well-configured VibeIQ solutions. This includes driving successful adoption across the full customer lifecycle. You will lead discovery processes, synthesize business requirements, craft functional solution designs, drive configuration of the VibeIQ platform, and guide customers through adoption


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Customer Solution Ownership

  1. Serve as the primary functional owner for assigned customer implementations from discovery through post-go-live optimization
  2. Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders across merchandising, design, and sales roles

Functional Discovery & Solution Design

  1. Lead functional discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, requirements, pain points, and KPIs
  2. Translate business requirements into functional solution designs aligned with VibeIQ’s platform capabilities and product direction
  3. Define scalable configurations that balance customer specificity with long-term maintainability

Hands-On Platform Configuration

  1. Configure the VibeIQ platform directly or drive implementation teams to configure the platform
  2. Validate configurations through functional testing and support user acceptance testing
  3. Troubleshoot functional and configuration-related issues during implementation and after go-live

Data & Enablement

  1. Define and document data models that support a customer processes, based on discovery and requirements synthesis
  2. Guide customers through data onboarding, including data cleanup, mapping, validation, and migration
  3. Partner with technical teams to support integrations and data flows where applicable
  4. Develop and deliver customer training sessions, workshops, and enablement materials to drive adoption

Adoption, Optimization & Feedback Loop

  1. Monitor customer adoption and success metrics immediately after post-launch
  2. Act as a bridge between customers and Product teams during implementations, sharing insights that inform roadmap priorities and feature enhancements
  3. Support early validation or rollout of new functional capabilities with customers when needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  1. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure customer solutions align with platform standards and roadmap direction
  2. Contribute to internal best practices, templates, and delivery standards for functional implementations
  3. Support pre-sales discovery and demonstrations as a functional subject matter expert when appropriate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  1. 5–8+ years of experience in retail, apparel, footwear, or consumer goods in a functional consulting, business systems, or SaaS implementation role
  2. Hands-on experience configuring SaaS platforms (workflows, roles, permissions, data models)
  3. Experience working directly with customers in a client-facing role, leading workshops and training sessions
  4. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  5. Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping shape internal processes in a growing organization

BONUS POINTS
  1. Strong functional knowledge of merchandising, assortment planning, line planning, or product development workflows
  2. Experience with PLM systems (FlexPLM or similar)
  3. Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data import/export processes
  4. Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS environment
  5. Exposure to visual line planning, design collaboration tools, or B2B selling workflows
