Position Highlights:

• Monday through Friday 8-5 with opportunity to share call for extra pay
• Lead a collaborative and comprehensive health care team
• 100% of patients will have an Optum/WellMed primary care provider
• Our model is designed to provide the most efficient, comprehensive, and proven care techniques to treat the whole patient - physically, mentally, and socially
• "Quality vs. Quantity Model" - Typical census per hospitalist is 15-16 patients per day
• Patients are predominantly geriatric with Medicare Advantage coverage
• Bonus incentives are based on quality metrics

Compensation/Benefits include:

• Guaranteed Base Salary plus Annual Quality Incentive Bonuses

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
• Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Florida or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• A working understanding and support of a managed care environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $271,500 - $401,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
