Job Description

Are you interested in an opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing a Masters degree to participate in opportunities at our Cambridge site.  You will work in two different roles within two years and besides your daily activities you will be supported in developing leadership skills.

Your role:

  • Supporting transformation across the Product Industrialization Engineering, by Identifying opportunities for improving processes that have a tangible impact on business performance and partner with stakeholders to understand current challenges and implement solutions to address them
  • Interact and make connections with various cross-functional groups that comprise the end-to-end supply chain team to enhance business acumen and open opportunities for future career growth.
  • Using data-driven analytical rigor and/or six sigma and/or lean expertise to accurately identify issues that lead to sub-optimal performance and their root causes
  • Support in the development, enhancement, and execution of KPIs and daily management effectiveness.
  • The Graduate Development Program engages participants in two role-specific tracks: Manufacturing & Product Industrialization Engineering includes defining and implementing manufacturing processes for new products.
  • Operational Material Manager (OMM) includes ensuring suppliers meet service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain material availability for production.

  • You are working toward a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Engineering
  • Interested or experienced in Operational Materials Management
  • You are Digital savvy, good knowledge of data analysis and interpretation for informed decisions

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $105,000-$168,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
