The Opportunity
As a Web Full Stack Engineer at Akkio, you will play an essential role in building delightful user interfaces and experiences that make complex AI-powered data analytics accessible to marketing professionals. You'll focus on creating intuitive, responsive web applications that help our customers transform how they leverage data throughout the campaign lifecycle.

What You'll Do
- Create responsive, accessible web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, Vue.js, TypeScript)
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver an evolving product
- Build data visualization components and interactive dashboards for marketing analytics
- Optimize frontend performance and user experience across different devices and browsers
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend development standards
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow
- Build on both new & legacy code bases, balancing tech debt with feature development
- Communicate project milestones and progress clearly
- Adapt and prioritize as new goals and challenges arise in a startup environment
Who You Are
- 3+ years of web full stack engineering experience with strong JavaScript fundamentals
- Proven skills with modern web frameworks (Vue.js, React, or similar)
- Experience with modern build tools and development workflows (Vite, Webpack, etc.)
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Experience with RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration
- Strong design sensibilities and ability to implement designs accurately
- Strong bias to execution coupled with high engineering standards and attention to detail
- Desire to work in a small team and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
- Interest in AI and machine learning (experience a plus, but not required)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Bonus Points:
- Mastery of Vue.js and state management in reactive frameworks
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as Chart.js, D3, or Three.js
- Experience with TypeScript and advanced JavaScript patterns
- Understanding of data science and machine learning fundamentals
- Proficiency with collaborative interface design tools such as Figma
- Previous startup experience
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices

Additional Information
- Location: Remote-first company with no central office location. This position is fully remote.
- Compensation: Competitive salary range of $110,000-$160,000 depending on experience, plus substantial equity grants
