Standard Template Labs is a stealth-mode, AI-native startup reimagining the future of IT Service and Configuration Management. Backed by leading investors, we're leveraging AI, graph-based architecture, and exceptional design to transform how enterprises manage and engage with their technology ecosystems.
About the Role
We are seeking Full Stack Engineers with deep experience designing and building enterprise-grade applications. You’ll be responsible for building user-facing features and backend services end-to-end, collaborating closely with designers, product engineers, and infrastructure experts.
Responsibilities
Own features end-to-end: design, implement, test, and deploy user-facing functionality and backend APIs
Shape the stack: work across front-end, backend, and database layers (stack not set yet — you’ll help define it)
AI-native product development: integrate AI/LLM capabilities into workflows to make ITSM smarter and more efficient
Performance & scale: build highly performant, secure, and scalable services for enterprise customers
Collaborate cross-functionally: partner with platform engineers on infrastructure, and with product/design on UX
Developer productivity: contribute to internal tooling, code quality, and CI/CD best practices
Security & compliance: bake in enterprise-grade security and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001) from day one
Customer impact: deliver features that enterprise users actually love, in contrast to the legacy tools they tolerate
Qualifications
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a top-tier engineering school
Experience: Full Stack Engineering (or Software Engineer with end-to-end ownership) in SaaS environments serving enterprise customers
Frontend: Skilled with modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar). Strong understanding of design systems and building clean, performant UIs
Backend: Proficient in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, Rust, C++ or similar). Experience designing REST/GraphQL APIs and distributed systems
Databases: Hands-on with relational (Postgres/MySQL) and ideally non-relational or graph databases
Cloud: Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
DevOps: Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform)
Mindset: Pragmatic, product-driven engineer who thrives in high-velocity startup environments
Bonus: Experience building applications with AI/LLM integrations, or exposure to ITSM/enterprise workflows. Taking products from 0 to 1
