Role and Responsibilities:

  • Full-stack development of high-quality reusable WordPress/PHP templates, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks.

  • Manage, maintain and update AWS Unix servers including web servers, load balancers, Redis Cache, map servers and more.

  • Design and build custom database structures in MySQL and PostgreSQL.

  • Manage code base using Git including peer code review. You will process all developer pull requests.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and intermediate web developers.

  • Participate in multi-department meetings to strategize project requirements, architect solutions, and educate associates.

  • You must be a self-starter, ready to take on multiple projects with minimal supervision but maximum impact. We are looking for someone who prioritizes high-quality work and sees every new project as a welcomed challenge.

Compensation: $120,000 - 145,000/annually, with additional bonus potential

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Candidates are asked to submit their professional portfolio showcasing their relevant development experience

  • B.S. In Computer Science.

    • At least 3 additional years of highly relevant experience may be considered of a Associate’s lieu of the Bachelor’s degree.

  • 7+ years of progressive web development experience, in a LAMP environment

  • 2+ years Laravel

  • 5+ years WordPress - Theme, Gutenberg & Plugin Development

  • 5+ years JavaScript, CSS/SASS, HTML

  • 3+ years AWS Unix Web Server Management - EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, ECR

  • 5+ years MySQL

  • 3+ years PostgreSQL

  • 3+ years NGINX

  • 3+ years Apache

  • 3+ years REST API

  • 2+ years XML, JSON

  • 2+ years Git

Preferred Skillsets and Experience:

  • React JS

  • ADA Compliance

  • Cloudflare

  • ChatGPT

  • SOAP API
