About Glimpse
The last decade has been a period of rapid growth for lithium-ion battery production. However, this expansion has often outpaced the development of adequate quality control infrastructure. As a result, the industry continues to face high defect rates, costly yield losses, and multi-billion-dollar safety recalls. In our view, every instance of battery failure—from thermal runaway events to subpar cell performance—undermines the reliability of energy storage systems across industries.
After spending years on the factory floors of Tesla and Toyota, Glimpse’s cofounders developed a vision for a comprehensive battery Quality Management Solution. That vision became reality with the launch of the Glimpse Portal in March 2024. Today, Glimpse supports some of the world’s leading battery manufacturers and OEMs—including Lucid Motors and NASA—in building safer, more reliable lithium-ion batteries at scale.
