Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Web Engineer to join the D2C Ecommerce team. Roles within the Ecommerce development team are creating experiences for consumers to work with internal users to understand their varied requirements, helping them use existing system capabilities and developing new solutions within a dynamic organization.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Online Research and Development.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for maintenance and improvement of our suite of website and web applications.
  • Improve existing pages/apps and create creative solutions to develop new ones.
  • Work collaboratively across the business, including communicating with developers on other teams, product owners, project managers, analysts, and business governance.
  • Follow software deployment rules and create new and improved deployment mechanisms where needed.
  • Follow team code standards.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to pages, apps and processes.

Qualifications

Your background:

  • BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in web development.
  • Front-end web design skills, including expertise especially in some or all of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, NodeJS, Docker, Bootstrap, WordPress, React, GatsbyJS, GitHub (especially GitHub Actions), and Angular.
  • High comfort level with debugging and troubleshooting using standard tools, both during development and QA.
  • Experience in API integration and development.
  • Understanding of back-end development or experience working with back-end developers.
  • Experience working with SEO and SEM teams.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility practices.
  • Familiarity with developing in MS Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of databases, including MySQL.
  • Experience working on large-scale consumer-facing websites.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
