Your role

So, what will your new role look like?

You'll be joining a team of experienced developers who design and evolve products used at scale. In this role, you'll focus on crafting high-quality, performant user interfaces in React and TypeScript, turning complex product needs into intuitive experiences. Beyond the code, you'll take part in technical and product decisions, and contribute to discussions around customer value, performance, accessibility, and the long-term quality and maintainability of our front-end.

Your impact:

  • Ship high-quality, performant front-end features in React and TypeScript that meet UX standards from the earliest milestones;
  • Translate user needs into shipped experiences that solve the real problem (not just the spec), in tight partnership with Product and Design;
  • Grow a reusable component library and design system that speeds up delivery across the team;
  • Step into the backend when needed: read existing code and extend or add functionality so delivery isn't blocked at the front-end boundary;
  • Deliver interfaces that hold up to real-world performance, accessibility, and responsiveness expectations;
  • Help shape front-end architecture and engineering practices that scale beyond the first release;
  • Keep the codebase healthy and maintainable through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement;
  • Influence product and technical decisions through active participation in team discussions.
Your team

A multidisciplinary squad made up of full-stack and front-end developers, a Product Manager, a Product Designer, and an Engineering Manager. The team is composed of experienced, product-oriented developers who care as much about the value delivered as the technical decisions behind it. You'll join to strengthen our front-end expertise, increase our delivery capacity, and support the product's evolution.

What are the next challenges awaiting your team?

The main upcoming challenges will be tied to managing and leveraging large volumes of data. We will need to design efficient interfaces that allow users to query, filter, and display this data smoothly and meaningfully. This will require smart technical decisions around front-end performance and user experience, as well as thoughtful interface and component architecture.

The tech stack you'll be working with:

  • Front-end: React; TypeScript; HTML; CSS
  • Back-end: .NET; C#
What you'll bring
  • 3+ years of experience in software development;
  • Fullstack development experience;
  • Proficiency in C# .NET;
  • Experience with React;
  • Solid understanding of SQL databases;
  • Experience with PostgreSQL;
  • Strong interest in product development.

We know few people check every box, and the best ones rarely do. If most of this sounds like you, apply!

What the job comes with
  • Base salary: $100K to $130K. This range reflects our Canada-wide compensation scale. Final offers may be adjusted based on the candidate's region to align with local market conditions.
  • Annual bonus program
  • LTIP program, share in Workleap's long-term growth
  • RRSP + Family health insurance + telemedicine + annual wellness budget
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Remote work, with access to our Montreal office
  • Access to Claude, for everyone, every day
  • In-person team events several times a year
What drives us

We build software that sits at the center of how people experience work, every day, at every level.

We move fast. Priorities shift, decisions get made with the information we have, and we iterate. If you thrive on intensity and ambiguity doesn't slow you down, you'll feel right at home.
We're builders. We do what it takes to move forward. AI is part of our toolkit. We use it to go faster and decide smarter, not to replace judgment.

If you want real impact and a place where your decisions matter, this is it.

How we hire

Transparency is how we hire — for you as much as for us.

Here's how it works: a first call with a recruiter, then a virtual interview with the hiring manager. You'll then complete a take-home case study, followed by a meet with future colleagues to discuss it together. Depending on the role, the process may vary slightly — your recruiter will walk you through it on your first call.

We use AI to support certain steps of the process, but every hiring decision remains human.

We can't wait to meet you.

By applying, you confirm that you have read and agree to our privacy policy.
