About the Role: 

Fever is looking for a Freelance Producer to liaison between Fever, vendors, and the venue  for a large-scale, outdoor immersive experience in St. Louis. This is a full-time, seasonal position from mid August to end of December. 


General Expectations: 

  • This is not a remote position; expect to be onsite
  • Flexible to work weekends
  • Expected hours, but not limited to, 30 hours per week

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Manage all aspects of event productions, including pre-production logistics planning, vendor selection, and onsite coordination and execution 
  • Assist with streamlining communication and production updates to the hired AGM and GM 
  • Create production timelines and ensure that teams are keeping to schedule
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of event deliverables
  • Assist in creating and optimizing parking & guest flow operations 
  • Manage productions and help execute plans on-site 
  • Work closely with the production partner and lend assistance when necessary
  • Plan and execute weatherization plans with local management 
  • Act as the Fever representative 
  • Assist with vendor contract negotiations
  • Manage budgets of different scales
  • Research new vendors and assist Fever Producer with hiring services, technologies, experiences
  • Assist with securing proper event permits and required  insurance requirements
  • Handle administrative duties, including expense reports, invoicing, and process creation
  • Work across time zones will  be required

Schedule & Pay: 

The contract will be for four months, starting in mid-August and running to the end of December. Depending on production timelines and deliverables, weekdays, holidays, and weekends will be asked to work. The schedule could vary based on ticket sales. 

Rate: Please provide your desired hourly rate for the services requested.


Required Skills: 

  • 4+ years of previous experience in a management position for an experiential pop-up event, amusement park, or hospitality establishment with high foot traffic. 
  • Proven experience in technical production, preferably within the realm of light show installations or event production.
  • Familiar and experienced with the local market rules and regulations 
  • Experienced in securing permits for large-scale outdoor events.
  • Experienced in overseeing and operating large-scale outdoor events.
  • Highly motivated and with a high energy profile. 
  • Strong leadership skills and use to engage with the public and manage staff. 
  • You can work autonomously and at your initiative 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • You know how to plan your own time appropriately to maximize performance
  • You are legally allowed to work in the US 
  • You are based in the Seattle area
