About the role

We're looking for a Fraud Operations Manager to help our customers stop fraud more effectively with Radar's location intelligence platform. You'll partner with banks, fintechs, online marketplaces, and gaming companies to optimize how they detect, investigate, and prevent fraud using Radar.

This is a highly cross-functional role spanning Fraud Operations, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success. You'll help customers configure and optimize Radar's fraud decisioning, surface actionable insights through data, and influence how our fraud products evolve based on real-world customer needs.

You'll report to our Fraud Operations Lead and be based in our Flatiron (NYC) headquarters. We're in the office Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

What you'll do

  • Become an expert in Radar's fraud platform and help customers get the most value from our products.

  • Analyze fraud patterns, leverage AI and data, and recommend optimizations that improve fraud detection and decisioning.

  • Own the fraud strategy for a portfolio of customers, serving as a trusted advisor and partnering with Customer Success and Solutions Engineering.

  • Stay ahead of emerging fraud trends and translate customer insights into recommendations that strengthen Radar's products.

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape new fraud capabilities and improve existing ones.

  • Work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Who you are

  • 3–5 years of experience in fraud operations, risk, or trust & safety at a bank, fintech, payments company, marketplace, or other high-growth technology company.

  • Experience using geolocation or other behavioral signals to detect and prevent fraud.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL to investigate fraud, identify trends, and drive operational or product improvements. Experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Metabase, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex fraud problems into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.

Who you'll work with

  • Kyler Day, Fraud Operations Lead

  • Will Green, Vice President of Fraud Operations and Partnerships

  • Nick Patrick, Co-Founder and CEO

  • Thomas Smith, Technical and Regulatory Operations Lead

  • Nick Anasa, Fraud Operations Manager

What we offer

  • Competitive salary

  • Meaningful stock options in a fast-growing company

  • 401(k) plan with 4% match

  • New HQ in Flatiron, NYC

  • Top-notch equipment

  • Catered lunches

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance with 100% coverage for employees

  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave

  • Commuter and fitness benefits

We’ll share full details of our benefits package at the offer stage. Benefits may vary by location.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
