As an FPGA Engineering Intern at HPR, you will:
- Build on your strong academic background as you help us advance our high-performance computing and electronic trading systems
- Collaborate with mentors to solve real-world problems
- Own a project through the entire FPGA development life cycle
- Develop tools to automate RTL and testbench generation
Education Requirements
- Pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and have attained Sophomore standing or higher
- Successful completion or enrollment in relevant coursework such as Digital Logic Design, Computer Organization, or Embedded Systems
- Must have and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, if on a 4.0 scale
Basic Qualifications
- Internship or academic experience writing Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL
- Familiarity working in a Linux environment
- Proficiency with a scripting and/or high-level software language (e.g., Python, Perl, or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with FPGAs
- Familiarity with FPGA tools (Vivado and/or Quartus)
