We're seeking a FP&A Senior Associate to join our fast-growing tech organization, focusing on the Paytronix P&L business unit. Paytronix provides hospitality clients with innovative guest engagement and retention solutions, and this role is critical to driving financial excellence as we scale. This is an opportunity to uplevel an existing position, working with a mature Finance organization that has solid infrastructure but significant opportunities for optimization and automation. You'll be instrumental in transforming & scaling Finance to support and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate is excited to help FP&A and Finance scale and drive better business outcomes, keeping pace with the high growth trajectory of the America’s & Paytronix within The Access Group. You have the technical curiosity to explore new ways of working & find solutions to automate, simplify, and transform complicated granular data into legible outputs & easy to action insights.
The kind of stuff you’ll be doing:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reporting for Paytronix leadership team, Americas leadership, and the board. Be a valued contributor by helping your stakeholders understand results and what they mean for the business.
- Analyze & generate insights on trends, variance analysis, what is working, and what needs to be improved. Work with business teams to communicate this info & develop action plans to address findings. Scope will include financials and operational metrics including GRR/Churn, time to launch, deal margins, and others.
- Develop and maintain quarterly forecasting models, working with the business teams to collaborate & align on expectations. Scope will include Revenue, OpEx, Headcount, and Cashflow
Process Improvement & Automation
- Design and implement improved reporting outputs that drive operational discipline across the company
- Identify and eliminate manual touchpoints in financial reporting processes. Prevent FP&A and Finance from being a bottleneck for business teams to get visibility to trends and access to granular data.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Work with Financial Systems teams to structure data, templates, systems, and outputs to streamline efforts.
The kind of skills and experience you’ll need:
- Track record of delivering for functional business partners, driving improvements, and building a better role & processes than what was inherited. Likely in a FP&A, Business Insights, or Data role.
- Must have 2+ years of related experience, preferably in fast growing tech environments
- Advanced to expert level Excel proficiency, including proven ability to create reporting outputs and work with large quantities of data.
- Prefer candidates with experience using tools to automate and who look for best in class solutions for the Future of Finance: coding languages (Python or SQL), AI (internally using enterprise Claude and ChatGPT ), etc.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems (preferably NetSuite), CRM (preferably Salesforce) and dashboard tools (e.g. OneStream) is a plus.
Salary range: $75k-$85k
