The Leidos Corporate Finance Group is actively seeking a FP&A Analyst to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to hone your financial story telling skills starting from detailed analysis and planning to presenting to Senior Leadership. Responsibilities will include planning, forecasting, reporting, and overall indirect rate maintenance. In addition, you can expect to perform ad hoc modeling and other requests that drive operational and strategic efficiencies within the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support, enhance and maintain indirect rate reporting
- Collaborate with Senior Sector FP&A to formulate accurate rate forecasting and variance analysis
- Update and maintain the Indirect Rate Dashboard
- Deliver monthly expense variance analysis for CAS segments
- Provide analysis to support rate strategy
- Help shape future business architecture
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of applicable financial planning and analysis experience
- Prior experience should include financial forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong skills in Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint, and ability to learn new applications.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, using advanced formulas to generate efficiency
- Demonstrated analytical ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Creative thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial reporting
- Experience with rate modeling and variance analysis
- User of Leidos Financial systems including Costpoint, Insight, OAC
- Data/configuration management experience
- Working knowledge of government accounting regulations (CAS, FAR, GAAP)
