We bridge the gap between companies and authorized requestors, ensuring that sensitive data is handled with uncompromising security, transparency, and efficiency.
The Role
Kodex is experiencing exceptional growth and we’re looking for a highly driven and technically adept Solution Engineer to join our sales team. Kodex helps highly-regulated companies handle law enforcement requests in a more secure and efficient manner. As digital crime has exploded, so has demand for our unique solution.
This role presents a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technical solutioning, pre-sales strategy, and customer onboarding. As a Solution Engineer, you will work closely with the Head of Sales and collaborate with Account Executives to help acquire and expand customer relationships. You’ll serve as an expert on the Kodex platform—particularly our APIs and workflow capabilities—to drive adoption and deliver business value during key sales and early implementation engagements.
In the near term, you will also play a critical role in directly supporting early-stage implementations, helping customers configure, validate, and go live with Kodex. This dual pre-sales and post-sale focus makes the role ideal for someone who thrives in customer-facing technical work and is eager to shape both the buying and onboarding experience.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Technical SolutioningServe as a trusted technical advisor to prospects throughout the sales process, offering deep knowledge of Kodex’s law enforcement response workflows, integration options, and APIs.
Lead discovery and working sessions to understand a prospect’s current processes, uncover friction points, and co-create solutions that map to Kodex’s capabilities.
Produce integration diagrams, demo environments, and tailored technical collateral to accelerate deal velocity.
Partner directly with customers during early-stage implementations to ensure successful configuration and launch of the Kodex platform.
Provide hands-on support in setting up workflows, validating integrations, troubleshooting issues, and serving as a key point of continuity from sales to implementation.
Develop and refine onboarding materials, handoff documentation, and technical enablement resources to streamline future rollouts.
Identify opportunities for upsell and expansion as new functionality is introduced, based on your knowledge of each customer’s technical and operational needs.
Act as a liaison to the Product and Engineering teams, providing structured customer feedback on integration patterns, workflow pain points, and enhancement requests.
Work in close alignment with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure Kodex delivers both value and velocity across the customer lifecycle.
Help evolve the sales-engineering and onboarding playbooks as Kodex continues to scale.
