About PartnerAlly

PartnerAlly is an AI-native risk and compliance platform helping fintech startups achieve and maintain compliance without the traditional pain. We're rethinking how companies approach SOC 2, ISO 27001, and regulatory frameworks—using AI to automate the tedious work so teams can focus on building.

We're seed-stage and looking for our first engineering hire to own the product alongside our CTO.

The Role

As Founding Engineer, you'll be the primary builder of our platform. Our CTO sets architecture and technical direction; you'll own implementation and ship features end-to-end. This is a high-autonomy role where you'll touch everything—frontend, backend, infrastructure, and AI integrations.

You're not joining a team. You're building the team.

What You'll Do
  • Own core product development from design through deployment

  • Build and iterate on our compliance automation workflows

  • Implement AI/LLM integrations that power our platform

  • Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance speed and quality

  • Ship frequently and learn from real customer feedback

  • Help define engineering culture and hire future engineers

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • Strong full-stack skills (we use Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase/Postgres)

  • Experience building and shipping products, not just features

  • Comfort with ambiguity and changing requirements

  • Familiarity with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)

  • You've worked at an early-stage startup before, or you're ready for it

Nice to Have
  • Experience with compliance, security, or GRC tools

  • Background in fintech or regulated industries

  • Infrastructure/DevOps experience (Vercel, AWS, etc.)
