The Opportunity
Triplemoon is seeking a highly motivated Founding Business Development Lead to help scale our partnerships with pediatric and family practices across the United States.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role for someone who loves opening doors, building connections, and developing sales strategies from the ground up. You'll spend your time identifying prospective practices, engaging decision-makers, conducting outreach, scheduling meetings, traveling to practices, representing Triplemoon at conferences, and helping refine our go-to-market strategy.
You will work directly with our leadership team and have significant influence over how we scale and build the business development team.
What You'll DoDrive Practice Partnerships- Identify and prioritize target pediatric and family practices
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and in-person networking
- Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings, practice visits, lunch-and-learns, and leadership presentations
- Travel regularly for in-person sales meetings, networking events, and conferences to generate new opportunities
- Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline within HubSpot
- Track outreach, meetings, next steps, and deal progression
- Develop and execute follow-up strategies that move opportunities forward
- Report on pipeline health, conversion rates, and key sales metrics
- Partner with leadership to determine where we should focus business development efforts
- Evaluate conferences, sponsorships, physician dinners, referral partnerships, digital communities, and other growth channels
- Identify opportunities to improve messaging, targeting, and sales processes
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to leadership
- Test new business development approaches and help create repeatable playbooks
- Serve as an ambassador for Triplemoon's mission and clinical model
- Communicate our value proposition clearly to physicians and practice leaders
- Build trust with prospective partners through professionalism, responsiveness, and strong relationship management
- 5+ years of experience driving pediatric primary care sales
- Demonstrated success prospecting via cold outreach and direct in-person sales
- Track record of delivering monthly sales targets
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Experience managing a CRM (HubSpot preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
- Self-starter and doer who thrives in fast-paced startup environments
- Experience attending and generating business through conferences and industry events
- Prior startup experience
- Understanding of healthcare reimbursement models and provider economics
