THE ROLEWe're looking for an Account Executive who thrives in the early stages of sales, someone who gets energized by prospecting, loves building pipeline from scratch, and isn't afraid to figure things out as they go. You'll be our first AE focused on new business, which means you'll help shape how we sell, who we sell to, and how we grow.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a polished playbook. You'll be building it with us.

Own new business development: Source, prospect, qualify, and close deals with AEC firms looking to operationalize their data and automation workflows
Build pipeline from the ground up: You relish picking up the phone, sending cold emails, and finding creative ways to get in front of the right people
Help shape our sales process: Work with leadership to establish workflows, refine messaging, and build out our CRM infrastructure—you'll have real input on how we operate
Become an industry expert: Learn AEC workflows, data challenges, and how our customers are using Speckle to solve real problems on billion-dollar projects
Close deals: Run demos, manage trials, negotiate contracts, and get customers across the finish line
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product, customer success, and marketing to ensure prospects become successful customers
Upward Mobility: We're scaling the team and our revenue. That means top performers get promoted fast, take on bigger responsibilities, and grow their careers in months, not years.
2-3 years of experience as an Account Executive selling new business (not account management or customer success)
Proven track record of prospecting: You know how to build pipeline and don't wait for leads to come to you
Startup experience: You've worked in an early-stage environment where you had to set up processes, build workflows in a CRM, and figure things out without a manual
Comfortable with ambiguity: You don't need everything figured out before you start—you're energized by building things from scratch
Strong communicator: You can explain complex concepts clearly, and adapt your approach based on who you're talking to
Self-motivated: You take ownership, set your own goals, and hold yourself accountable
Nice-to-haves:
Experience selling technical products or platforms (SaaS, developer tools, data infrastructure)
Familiarity with AEC, architecture, engineering, construction, or adjacent industries
Experience with modern sales tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, etc.)
Background in B2B sales with deal cycles of 1-6 months
