The Forensics Operations Specialist is a key client liaison responsible for ensuring effective execution and completion of each case related to collection and forensic services. They bridge the communication and coordination gap between the sales, project management, and client success departments on behalf of the forensics department.

What You'll Do
  • Client Experience Management: Serves as the primary point of contact to manage the client experience with the forensics lab. Schedules and hosts scoping calls with external clients to understand the case background, objectives, and deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Collaborates with the Forensics Operations Manager or Forensics Director for scoping calls that require higher levels of consultation. Works closely with Sales, Project Managers, Media Management, Forensic Examiners, and other DISCO team members.
  • Documentation and Quality Control: Performs tracking and documentation quality control checks for forensic tickets. Provides timely status updates for all forensics projects.
  • Service Enhancement: Collects client feedback to enhance the client experience. Acts as backup to the Forensics Operations Manager.
Who You Are
  • 3+ years of forensic or eDiscovery experience at a law firm, in-house legal department, or service provider
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on detail, organization, and responsiveness.
  • Knowledge of basic industry-standard forensic collection workflows.
  • Familiarity with data collection and processing software, such as DISCO, LAW, Cellebrite, Relativity Processing, Nuix, X1, EnCase, FTK, FEX, or others.
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Even Better If You Have…
  • Experience working at a consulting firm. 
  • Experience providing consultative solutions in eDiscovery or forensics
  • Experience working for a litigation support group at a law firm/corporation or working closely with lit support groups.
