Job Description
As an Associate on the Hybrid/Electronic Desk within F&O Sales and Execution, you will be responsible for helping support, maintain and develop key futures client relationships throughout the Americas. Your initial remit will focus on electronic execution; however you will also look for high value revenue opportunities - both high touch and low touch methods. You will collaborate with trading, research, Algo Product, Connectivity, Prime/Clearing and other teams to provide comprehensive client coverage, including but not limited to managing daily electronic order flow, providing timely algo analysis, manually facilitating futures transactions, fulfilling client requests for market updates and providing clients with market intelligence.
Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage high volumes of orders through electronic trading platforms, ensuring timely and accurate execution while monitoring order flow for potential issues;
  • Back up global teammates on Hybrid/Electronic Desk on live order flow and inquiry response;
  • Consulting clients on best practices for JPM Futures Algo Suite; providing real-time and post trade algo analysis; analyzing algo behavior and suggesting customized improvements;
  • Accept and execute clients' global futures orders, partnering with the F&O Fixed Income, Equities, and Commodities teammates;
  • Provide clients with relevant market insights by staying informed on trends and conditions, enhancing trading strategies through data-driven analysis;
  • Develop and monetize client relationships whilst supporting existing relationships.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

  • Product and fundamental understanding of general futures market structure;
  • High degree of interest in learning about electronic execution and sales;
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and coachable; a self-starter who possesses strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong quantitative mind with the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas;
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Prior working experience and knowledge within futures and/or electronic trading; working within in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
