Firmwide Financial Controllers is accountable for the integrity of the books and records of the Firm and accounting standard and business process change management events. The organization closely examines the general ledger, operating systems, and controls across all businesses to ensure the firm's financial information is accurately depicted for reporting and regulation purposes.
As a Vice President within the Firmwide Financial Controllers group, you will oversee prioritization and project management of a diverse portfolio of initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maintaining a robust control environment. You will play a leadership role and will be instrumental in fostering collaboration across teams and leveraging technology to propel the organization forward.

As a Vice President within the Firmwide Financial Controllers group, you will oversee prioritization and project management of a diverse portfolio of initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maintaining a robust control environment. You will play a leadership role and will be instrumental in fostering collaboration across teams and leveraging technology to propel the organization forward.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage transformation projects and oversee the entire portfolio of initiatives for Firmwide Financial Control
- Collaborate closely with technology and data science teams, as well as business process owners within Firmwide Financial Control and other Controller teams to stand up PWGs and drive momentum
- Stay informed about governance processes, industry trends, and new capabilities
- Oversee the communication and dissemination of use cases, progress, and success stories across the organization through monthly forums, newsletters and business reviews
- Manage a small team while also influencing the broader organization by serving as a thought leader who drives cross-functional collaboration
- Bring a risk and control mindset to guide evolution of Data Products while maintaining the integrity of our processes
- Build the framework and tracks project success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, and reliability
- Work with teams to define and challenge product requirements, create detailed specifications, and prioritize features based on customer impact and business value
- Serve as a subject matter expert providing guidance and insights to internal teams and consumers
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong finance background with 7+ years of experience, an understanding of the controller role, accounting, and month-end processes
- Track record of successful change management and a passion for driving impactful change
- Strong organizational skills and program management experience
- Flexible mindset and demonstrates curiosity
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Leadership skills to bring people together and guide them towards common goals
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience with Databricks or similar data engineering and analytics platforms is a benefit
