Job Summary & Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and motivated Firmware Engineer II to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of firmware for our next-generation products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development, with a focus on C and C++ applications, Linux drivers, and Kernel support. This is an onsite role based in our Boston, MA or Pittsburgh, PA office.
Preferred Qualifications- Design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for a variety of embedded hardware platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C and C++.
- Build and maintain custom Linux kernels.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up new boards and debug system-level issues.
- Contribute to software architecture and design decisions.
