The FinOps Intern will support the Financial Operations (FinOps) team in managing and optimizing cloud costs, analyzing financial data, and assisting with process improvements. This role offers hands-on experience in cloud financial management, cost optimization strategies, and cross-functional collaboration between finance, engineering, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Cloud Cost Analysis: Assist in monitoring and analyzing cloud usage and spending patterns across platforms (Azure). 

  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and summaries using tools like Power BI and Excel. 

  • Process Support: Help maintain FinOps workflows, including tagging, anomaly detection, and cost allocation.  

  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Support monthly forecasting exercises and assist in preparing accrual summaries for finance reviews.  

  • Tooling & Automation: Gain exposure to FinOps tools and frameworks; assist in automating repetitive tasks where possible. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering and finance teams to align cloud spending with business objectives.

The starting hourly wage for this position is $20 - $30.
