The ideal writer will have direct experience with options or derivatives trading or a strong background in financial journalism or investment education content.

Scope
  • Commitment: 5 hours per week (approx. 22 hours per month)
  • Contract Duration: 6-month initial engagement
  • Primary Deliverable: Weekly blog posts (1 per week at ~1,000 words)
Responsibilities
  • Write SEO-optimized blog articles on options trading strategies and derivatives topics.
  • Translate complex trading concepts into clear, engaging educational content.
  • Follow the client’s existing editorial calendar and keyword research.
  • Conduct supplemental research to ensure accuracy and authority.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with an educational trading platform.
  • Collaborate directly with the client for topic clarification and direction.
  • Assist with additional content projects when needed, including: Editing and restructuring a technical trading ebook and simplifying technical material into more accessible content
Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience writing about options trading, derivatives, or financial markets
  • Strong understanding of options strategies and trading terminology
  • Financial writing experience for recognized publications (preferred), such as: Investopedia, Forbes, NerdWallet, or Similar financial publications
  • Ability to produce human-written, high-quality content 
  • Experience writing SEO-driven financial content
  • Excellent research and explanatory writing skills
About Client

Client is a former derivatives trader with over two decades of trading experience. He is building an online educational platform focused on teaching options trading strategies through a course supported by a daily newsletter. The blog will serve as a primary SEO channel to attract traders interested in learning options strategies.
