JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for financial support and business partnership within the Healthcare Specialties Group (HSG) with a strong focus on Henry Schein Products.  Responsibilities include developing and analyzing key metrics, driving financial strategy, and providing critical insights to management for strategic and operational decisions. Position will manage the out-the-door (OTD) financial reporting processes, including the review and analysis of daily and monthly results.  Position will also partner closely with the Henry Schein Products management team to lead the OTD forecast and annual budget processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage the Henry Schein Products OTD daily and monthly financial reporting processes across all sales channels and Product Business Units (PBU). Provide actionable insights into financial performance, variance analysis, and business trends to management.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process, long-term financial planning, and periodic forecasts for Henry Schein Products OTD sales and gross profit.  Collaborate with management to align financial plans with organizational objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate across functional areas to improve the existing forecast process for the Henry Schein Products OTD sales and gross profit.
  • Partner with the Data Analytics team to transition OTD monthly reporting from Excel spreadsheets into MS Power BI and other technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Oracle PBCS team to execute system integration plans across HSG.  Manage the implementation of recommended changes and enhancements to PBCS based on business needs.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial presentations.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes to streamline reporting, forecasting, and analysis.  Implement automation solutions where it is possible to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage ad-hoc special projects and perform in-depth financial analysis as needed.
  • Lead and develop staff by fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships within the HSG portfolio and beyond.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, reporting, financial policies and procedures, systems implementation, and designing and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills are required to discuss financial results with management and communicate goals and objectives to staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed to work with all levels of management. 
  • Strong leadership to manage and develop staff and to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel required, including ability to develop financial models, complex spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Knowledge of Oracle PBCS, HFM, Smartview, MS PowerBI are highly beneficial.

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications.

The posted range for this position is $95,990-$149,985 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a [bonus/incentive] not reflected in the posted range.
