Position Overview:
As a FP&A Analyst on the Finance team at FastSpring, you’ll play a critical role in shaping strategic decisions by delivering actionable insights and financial guidance to company leadership and investors. Our team partners across the business to build and maintain forecasting models, develop internal and external reporting, monitor key performance indicators, and support the strategic planning process. You will be instrumental in scaling and automating financial processes, improving operational efficiency, and supporting investment decisions that drive FastSpring’s growth. From evaluating business performance to modeling future scenarios, your work will help guide the strategic direction of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the corporate forecasting/budgeting 3-statement model
- Analyze financial data to develop and share deep insights on FastSpring and the industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to implement and maintain financial processes (e.g. budget versus actual reviews), and help map the financial future of the company
- Improve and refine our budgeting and planning processes
- Analyze key performance, operational, and financial metrics (e.g., revenue, churn/retention metrics, and other key business drivers)
- Participate in discussions across FastSpring and develop analytical models to support company initiatives and/or financial decisions
- Own monthly external reporting
- Build and maintain Excel and Looker dashboards that keep our team and executives up to date on key performance metrics
What We Are Looking For:
- 2-5 years of finance/FP&A experience, preferably at a payments, fintech or e-commerce company
- Excellent analytical skill with a strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting
- Advanced financial modeling skills - Excel and Google Sheets
- Data visualization skills (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
- Someone with a passion for learning and continuous improvement
