The Opportunity:
The Financial Analyst will support the Director of Finance to provide meaningful financial analysis of M-Files performance including monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting across all levels of management within M-Files.
The role will assist in building out the Financial Planning & Analysis function for the company as it embarks on the next level of growth.
What you will be doing:
- Creating and maintaining monthly & quarterly financial reporting inventory
- Preparing and distributing recurring management reports
- Compiling analysis for inclusion into board meeting materials
- Performing ad hoc financial analysis regarding company profitability, expense analysis, cashflows, headcount, and other key financial metrics
- Creating and monitoring KPIs to measure company performance
- Interfacing with other functions to gather data and driving operational efficiencies
- Contributing with monthly accounting close & reporting process
- Assisting with expense analysis & management
- Participating in budgeting & planning activities
- Will collaborate with Sales, Services, Marketing, People & Culture, and Business Technology as needed

Your background and expertise:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or relevant related work experience as outlined below
- 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field
- Organizational, written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills and ability to interface with highest levels of management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional Excel skills with ability to handle large datasets
- Systems orientation, including ability to quickly learn new tools such as Power BI, NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, or Planful
- US-based, preferably residing within the Eastern Time Zone or Central Time Zone to align collaboration time with global team members
