As a P&A Innovation & Transformation Product Manager - Vice President within our dynamic team, you will be instrumental in shaping and communicating our product strategy in line with our business objectives and user requirements. Your role will involve the creation and management of a multi-year, feature-based roadmap, prioritizing features based on their business value and customer needs. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from the initial idea to post-launch optimization, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration. Collaborating closely with engineers and data scientists, you will develop products using cloud-based tools and analyze large data sets to identify insights and trends. You will engage with senior management and stakeholders across Finance, Corporate Technology, and Lines of Business to define the scope of work. In partnership with Corporate Technology, you will ensure the high-quality delivery of solutions using an Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC) and communicate executive messaging to highlight achievements, business cases, and escalate issues to senior leadership when necessary.
Job responsibilities:
  • Execute the product vision and strategy aligned with our business goals, incorporating emerging technologies and trends.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritize features based on business value and customer needs, and manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch optimization.
  • Gather and document requirements with clear acceptance criteria and engage directly with the Technology implementation team to build, test, and deploy new features.
  • Advocate for the customer by ensuring products meet user needs and deliver exceptional experiences, while gathering and analyzing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to develop products using cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS, Databricks, MLFlow, Python).
  • Analyze large data sets to extract insights and trends, define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), and use data-driven insights to optimize product performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives, acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively to various audiences, providing regular updates and gathering feedback to ensure alignment and support.
  • Navigate the evolving landscape of Product & Design and Technology functions with adaptability and flexibility, effectively solving problems in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior product managers and other professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and providing guidance for the team's success and professional growth.
  • Ensure products comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, while identifying and mitigating risks associated with product development and deployment.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related majors
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of leading successful product initiatives.
  • Experience with FP&A and model-based forecasting, understanding of the model development and execution lifecycle, including regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding of Machine Learning techniques and experience in deploying platforms for ML Engineers and Data Scientists.
  • Proficiency in statistical and machine learning techniques, with the ability to apply these methods to financial forecasting and risk assessment.
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS, and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control, as well as the ability to develop project plans, roadmaps, and status reports
  • Demonstrated experience with agile product planning, issue resolution, and negotiation.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences, proficiency in project management software, Jira, Confluence, MS/MBA degree or equivalent experience using UX Design Tools (e.g., Balsamiq) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead, influence, and negotiate.
  • Ability to set and manage accountabilities and expectations at all levels - team members, peers, business partners, and senior management.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, strong ethical standards and integrity.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, teamwork, and ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and maintain professional behavior under stressful situations/ Highly motivated and eager to roll up your sleeves to make things happen.
  • Experience in a complex financial organization; Finance, Transformations, and Planning & Analysis experience preferred.
