Profile Overview

Client is seeking a dedicated finance writer to lead the creation of varied content including newsletters, blogs, case studies, and website copy. The ideal candidate should simplify complex financial topics for audiences with varying levels of financial literacy, particularly real estate agents and affiliate partners.

Scope
  • Commitment: 25 hours/month (5 hours/week) 
  • Duration: 6 month commitment with room for extension long term
Responsibilities
  • Create a monthly finance newsletter targeted at clients’ network of affiliates and clients
  • Write SEO-friendly finance blogs to support brand awareness and lead generation
  • Draft case studies based on interviews with clients
  • Produce website copy for pages including loan program descriptions, about page, etc.
  • Provide email content for distribution by clients’ internal marketing team
  • Participate in feedback calls or async reviews to align tone and voice
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in financial writing, especially in areas such as loan products, private banking, investment banking, and real estate finance
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into digestible, layperson-friendly content
  • Strong understanding of content strategy including SEO, lead generation, and brand messaging
  • Professional writing/editing background with consistent attention to tone, accuracy, and clarity
  • Comfortable conducting basic client interviews for case studies
  • Familiarity with creating content for newsletters, blogs, white papers, and websites
