Job Purpose:
This role is needed to support modernization of Finance & Actuarial functions

This position is responsible for driving implementation of process improvements and solutions to further optimize Corporate Finance & Actuarial functions

This individual will work to collaborate with the Corporate Finance leadership team and various other key stakeholders to align internal business requirements and controls to optimize solutions. They will act as a change champion to drive efficiency and modernization

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and maintaining the Corporate Finance modernization roadmap
  • Provides thought leadership on solutions and emerging trends (Data, AI, Automation) to inform Finance modernization roadmap
  • Partners with Finance leaders and technology teams to align and prioritize business and technology roadmaps and develop solutions to future business opportunities by helping to define financial measures and supporting business cases
  • Providing consulting and expert guidance of planning and execution to meet commitments, including scope, financial impacts and schedule
  • Develops/manages execution plans and identifies intersection points within Corporate Finance and other enterprise initiatives
  • Tracks risks and issues and develops mitigation plans, representing Corporate Finance
  • Drives solutions to improve process and technology optimization
  • Provides regular updates to keep Finance stakeholders informed of progress and health
  • Interfaces with vendors that support implementation of Corporate Finance modernization initiatives
  • Identifies and manages stakeholders impacted by finance modernization initiatives
  • Develops change management plans to ensure communication and implementation plans are executed effectively

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, or relevant functional area
  • 10+ years of relevant experience within a minimum of 8 years in insurance industry
  • Experience and knowledge of Finance & Actuarial processes and systems
  • Business modernization / optimization and project management experience, preferably in a Finance function
  • Demonstrated insightful strategic thinking
  • Demonstrate a sense of high urgency and a bias for action
  • Ability to drive change and innovation to optimize results
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts/requirements and related product/functional knowledge
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Good negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships, influence others and work effectively in a matrixed environment

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

 

Base Salary Range:

$133,700.00 - $200,600.00
