Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager, CTx & STT to join our world-class team in the United States. This outstanding opportunity allows you to partner with Business Unit leadership and drive substantial growth for our Cell Therapy and Science & Technology Teams.

How will you make an impact?

The Finance Manager for CTx & STT will support key decision-making processes, enabling significant revenue growth and R&D advancements. Your outstanding analytical skills and strategic approach will be crucial in driving our mission forward.

The Finance Manager will report to the Senior Director, Finance, VVS & ATX and will be a key member of the VVS/ATx finance team. Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a finance business partner to Sr Director/GM of STT and Sr Director/GM of Cell Therapy and their respective leadership teams
  • Drive site profitability improvement with the GM and other SLT members
  • Prepare accurate and timely analyses to communicate business results, variances, and performance trends, making recommendations for improvement
  • Manage financial reporting, forecasting, and annual budget processes
  • Boost tracking and forecasting of revenue targets and billable landmarks with program management
  • Contribute to the multiyear strategic plan and develop arguments for capex investment
  • Partner with supply chain to enhance inventory visibility, improving facility execution and reducing risks related to E&O and inventory expiry
  • Support analysis of R&D initiatives and track their performance as they transition to customer offerings
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a complex, multinational environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong and persuasive communication skills
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and challenge the status quo
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data and metrics into valuable business insights
  • Experience with ERP systems (i.e., SAP)
  • Advanced skills in Hyperion or Oracle/Essbase
  • Advanced Excel skills
