GGWP is a fast-paced startup co-founded by three successful entrepreneurs and backed by key strategic investors in the video game industry. Our mission is to curb toxicity in gaming by creating positive, player-centric experiences. We partner with the world’s most popular online games and social platforms to build healthier digital communities.

The Role

GGWP is looking for a Finance & Business Operations Lead to own the company’s core operating backbone across finance operations, contract operations, revenue reporting, vendor coordination, and business systems.

This is GGWP’s first dedicated Finance & Business Operations leadership role. It is a hands-on builder role: you will not inherit a large team or mature systems, but you will own the workflows that keep the business running.

You will connect Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, HR, and leadership by ensuring contracts, billing, revenue reporting, vendor workflows, and business metrics are accurate, repeatable, and visible. The ideal candidate is financially literate, highly organized, comfortable with SaaS metrics and commercial contracts, and practical enough to build lightweight systems in a fast-moving startup.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Revenue Operations
  • Own recurring invoicing, billing, collections, and vendor spend tracking.
  • Maintain the company’s operating metrics across ARR, bookings, renewals, revenue, collections, vendor spend, and cash planning inputs.
  • Support quarterly financial reporting, lightweight budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning in partnership with leadership and external finance/accounting partners.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, payroll providers, and finance vendors to ensure clean execution.
Commercial & Contract Operations
  • Own the operational flow from Closed-Won to executed order form, billing setup, customer handoff, and renewal tracking.
  • Manage order form creation and ensure commercial terms such as billing cycles, usage allowances, overages, start dates, and renewal terms are captured accurately.
  • Partner with RevOps to ensure executed contracts match CRM records, billing schedules, and revenue reporting.
  • Build lightweight deal desk processes that reduce rework, ambiguity, and executive coordination.
Legal & HR Coordination
  • Own legal intake and contract operations, including redline tracking, approvals, renewal dates, contract repository hygiene, MSAs, DPAs, SLAs, security exhibits, and order forms. This role manages process and business coordination; it does not provide legal advice.
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits invoices, headcount tracking, compensation records, and onboarding/offboarding workflows involving systems and vendors.
Business Systems & Operating Cadence
  • Document and improve core business processes across finance, contracts, vendors, HR coordination, and leadership reporting.
  • Create lightweight systems that make operational status visible without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Assist in preparing board and investor operating metrics, including ARR, bookings, renewals, cash inputs, headcount, and major operating risks.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 6–10+ years in Finance Operations, Business Operations, Revenue Operations, Strategic Finance, or Startup Operations. B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of SaaS billing, ARR, bookings, renewals, usage-based pricing, overages, collections, and revenue reporting.
  • Ownership: You have owned recurring business processes end-to-end, not just supported them.
  • Contractual Fluency: Comfortable navigating MSAs, order forms, DPAs, SLAs, and security exhibits, and translating commercial terms into operational workflows.
  • Systems Thinking: Strong instinct for documentation, process design, and building simple systems where none exist.
  • Tools: High proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and familiarity with CRM, accounting, payroll, and contract management systems.
  • Startup Mindset: Practical, low-ego, and comfortable operating without perfect systems.
Success in This Role

Within your first six months, GGWP has a reliable operating backbone: invoicing happens on a predictable cadence, collections are tracked, contracts are organized and searchable, CRM records match executed agreements, leadership has a clear view of ARR, bookings, renewals, and cash inputs, and cross-functional handoffs no longer depend on ad hoc executive follow-up.

Why Join Us?

At GGWP, you’ll work at the intersection of gaming, AI, and online safety. Your work will directly support our ability to scale with leading online games and social platforms while helping build healthier digital communities.
