Job Description
Join our team as an Associate of Financial Analysis for Wholesale Lending Services in Commercial and Investment Bank/Digital Platform Services. Be part of a dynamic Finance Management team that plays a pivotal role in promoting strategic direction and decision-making for our organization.
As a Finance Associate within the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. Your role involves the delivery of value-added financial reporting and analysis to direct strategic direction and decision-making, while also collaborating with managers and peers across Business Management and Financial Planning & Analysis teams.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of annual financial budgets and associated forecasts in tandem with business factors, initiatives, and investments.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial results, providing insightful commentary on changes from previous forecasts and budgets.
  • Support the production of monthly/quarterly and ad hoc reporting of results for senior management.
  • Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.
  • Work on projects to push global consistency and create synergies across Finance Management, Business Management, and Planning & Analysis teams.


Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Experience with LiveDataset/Krescendo.
  • Knowledge of or experience with BI tools, databases, and SQL querying.
