As a Finance Associate (AP) and play a pivotal role in supporting a dynamic, fast-paced AI company with a global reach. In this remote position, you will be responsible for executing critical accounts payable functions and managing US payroll, ensuring meticulous accuracy and high efficiency. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process, review, and reconcile accounts payable transactions while paying close attention to detail.
- Facilitate timely and precise payroll processing for US employees through Deel and for international EOR and contractors.
- Manage vendor invoices and employee expenses utilizing Brex, ensuring thorough recordkeeping for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to address invoice discrepancies and respond swiftly to inquiries from vendors and employees.
- Leverage QuickBooks to document, monitor, and report all accounts payable transactions, aiding in monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Strictly adhere to financial controls and company policies, while identifying potential opportunities for process enhancements.
- Efficiently handle a significant volume of concurrent, important tasks while staying organized and meeting tight deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable, US payroll, and QuickBooks, particularly in a high-growth or technology-focused environment.
- Proven ability to process payroll through Deel for employees based in the US and for international EOR/contractors.
- Strong proficiency with Brex for overseeing vendor invoicing and employee expense management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and urgently.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
- A high level of initiative and ownership, along with a comfort operating in a fast-paced, adaptable, global environment.
- Keen attention to detail, integrity, and a strong commitment to maintaining data security and confidentiality.
