Prepare and maintain GAAP-compliant financial statements, reconcile accounts, support month- and year-end closes, assist budgeting and forecasting, ensure regulatory compliance, aid audits, and provide financial insights to stakeholders.
BlackStone eIT is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Finance Accountant to become a vital part of our finance department. In this role, you will manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to the overall accuracy of our financial reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Support the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal financial policies.
- Assist in audits and prepare documentation as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus.
