Overview/Summary

Horizon3.AI is looking for a Field Marketing Manager for the west region to join our team! You will report to the Head of Field Marketing. As a collaborative, cross-functional leader, the Field Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and supporting event-related projects across various teams within the organization, reporting key metrics for such events, and filling the top of our sales funnel through activities in the field. These projects will generate brand awareness and position Horizon3.AI as a trusted voice within the cybersecurity community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee logistics and preparation for field events as assigned, including with third parties

  • Manage field marketing projects following prescribed process and using company software

  • Perform administrative tasks related to event project management and reporting

  • Work with several teams across the org to deliver polished and well-rounded events (i.e., graphic design, content, social media, public relations, sales, engineering, email marketing, etc.)

  • Enable social media marketing to maximize event visibility by providing content and guidance for event-related posts

  • Update and manage marketing inventory documentation to ensure accurate reflection of quantity and location of physical marketing assets

  • Contribute to presentations for the executive team when needed

  • Track and report on ROI of events you manage

  • Ensure team members are doing their part to enable your ROI tracking ability by informing supervisor if there is anything inhibiting your ability to do so

  • Report project (e.g., event) updates, progress, risks, and additional support needed to ensure internal transparency and success of project

  • Nurture alliance partner relationships/initiatives through professional communications and effective management of regional and local event programs

  • Support sales teams through field marketing activities to fill top of funnel and push deals that may be “stuck”

  • Support development of field marketing plan when needed (annually, semi-annually, etc.)

  • When possible, maximize executive event-related travel by planning multiple events in close geographic and date proximity

  • Adhere to and maximize any allocated budget

  • Proactively, and upon request, research field marketing opportunities for the company (in-person and virtual)

  • With support of teams across the org, organize events from the ground up (if necessary)

  • Travel to support events on-site when necessary

Qualifications

  • Ability to self-organize, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively

  • Located in the Mountain or Pacific region within close proximity to an airport

  • Team-player mentality

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability and resilience to navigate impediments when such occur

  • Ability to handle pressure and be flexible in a dynamic work environment

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Professional demeanor

  • Actively enhance company culture with a positive disposition

  • Demonstrated track record in field and promotional marketing

  • Ask for help when needed/guidance when uncertain

  • Ability to balance minute details with big picture goals

  • Ability to learn the mechanics of our business’ growth to inform and optimize your field marketing operations and collaboration across departments

  • Possess genuine interest and understanding of the cybersecurity vertical

  • Willingness to accept administrative tasks related to field marketing success

Preferred Education

  • College degree, supplemented by at least 4 years of relevant marketing/event organizing experience

  • High School Diploma or GED, supplemented by 6 years of relevant marketing/event organizing experience in cybersecurity/IT verticals

Travel Required

We are a fully remote company, and this job may require up to 30% of travel to be successful. Job-related travel expenses are reviewed and must be approved by your manager.

Compensation Disclosure:

In accordance with various State’s transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:

  • Base salary range: $99,000 - $110,000 annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.

  • Additional compensation: This role may also be eligible for performance bonuses, equity options, and other benefits which will be discussed during the interview process
