JOB SUMMARY:
The Federal Account Executive II (AE II) will lead the Trace3 Gov effort to enhance the mission outcomes of our customers through the integration of select technology and services. They will develop strong relationships with clients and manage existing anchor relationships. They will work with clients to identify and understand their objectives and align our products and services offerings with their needs. They will be responsible for overseeing and managing a pipeline to deliver a quota of $20M+ in total revenue.
Responsibilities
- Possess an understanding of your customers mission and passion for enabling their mission success
- Demonstrate strong skills in developing and maintaining relationships with customers and key OEMs such as Cisco, NetApp, VMWare, Dell, HPE, Splunk, AWS, and Azure
- Able to position and close services under multiple delivery models including, short duration project based support, long term service capability delivery, managed services, and XaaS.
- Collaborate with and quarterback a combined team of inside support, engineers, project managers, and others to deliver mission outcomes to customers and achieve Trace3 Gov business goals
- Display entrepreneurial drive to identify and capture new customers
- Understand and work closely with defense system integrators, both large and small, at the Business Development, Program Manager, Engineering, and Procurement levels to deliver mission capability to government end users
- Display a through knowledge of Federal Government budgeting and procurement cycles
- Manage a $20M+ pipeline of business through all phases of the sales cycle, providing timely and accurate forecasting to Sales and Service Delivery leadership
Qualifications
- Experience in or selling to Federal Civilian Agencies
- 7+ years of major account management experience in IT sales prospecting, pipeline management, and deal closing
- Demonstrated repeated achievement of Revenue targets of $20M+
- Outstanding communication and organization skills
- Desired: FAA, DHS, NASA, DOJ, Fed Civ Focused Prime System Integrators
