Job Description

Job Title: FCCS Administrator

Location: Waltham, MA

Job Summary: Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a skilled FCCS Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with FCCS and Essbase, and preferred experience with Data Manager, EDMCS and Hyperion Financial Management. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial consolidation and reporting systems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting our finance team with accurate and timely information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) applications.
  • Collaborate with team to support an interconnected ecosystem of Essbase and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) applications.
  • Work with ledger owners on process improvements within Oracle Data Management & FDMEE.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the financial consolidation systems.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand and meet reporting needs.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Fix and resolve system issues.
  • Deliver training and support to end-users.
  • Document system processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Demonstrable experience with Oracle FCCS and Essbase.
  • Ability to work with multiple independent business units to ensure the quality of loads through Oracle Data Management.
  • Expertise in financial consolidation and reporting operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing FCCS for large, publicly traded companies.
  • Experience with EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service).
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
  • Experience with system integration and data migration.
