About the role: 

As a Data Center Facilities Technical Manager, you will spearhead the development and implementation of best-in-class technical operational processes and procedures for our data center clients. Your day-to-day will involve ensuring consistent, high-quality technical service delivery, maintaining 100% uptime, and achieving client SLAs across our portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping our technical approach, managing vendor contracts, and driving continuous improvement within our Data Center Operations organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide strategic and operational support on process and standards across the local data center portfolio.
  • Continually evaluate and improve technical operational processes and procedures in collaboration with the team.
  • Review, comment on, and approve High-Risk emergency operating procedures for clients.
  • Manage technical library content and structure to ensure global accessibility and relevance.
  • Audit processes and procedures (PPM system, reporting, statutory files) to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review operational procedural documents from commissioning documentation and site drawings.
  • Review critical facilities operation procedural documents based on commissioning documentation and site drawings.
  • Execute operational and performance risk assessments.
  • Work with the Operations Team to develop, track, and maintain procedures and policies.
  • Lead by example, embodying CoreWeave values, and influence others to adopt best practices.
  • Identify and solve complex technical and operational problems with a broad understanding of departmental impact.
  • Drive improvements and changes to existing methods, processes, and standards within the technical discipline.

Who You Are:

  • Experience in developing and maintaining standardized technical operational processes and procedures.
  • Experience providing strategic and operational support on processes and standards across a data center portfolio.
  • Proven track record in evaluating and improving technical operational processes and procedures.
  • Technical knowledge of High-Risk emergency operating procedures and Data Center compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with critical facilities commissioning standards and operations procedural documents.
  • Experience executing operational and performance risk assessments.
  • Ability to solve complex technical and operational problems with a broad understanding of departmental impact.

Preferred:

  • Specific experience with large-scale AI hyperscale environments.
  • Advanced certifications in Data Center Management or relevant engineering disciplines.

The base salary range for this role is $122,000 to  $163,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
