Job Summary:

We are seeking a Facilities Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general maintenance, support, and upkeep of all our facility spaces including labs, kitchens, and office spaces. This role will involve a variety of tasks, including restocking, furniture assembly, office setup, cleaning, and performing minor repairs.


Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance and upkeep of office facilities. Some examples of work include restocking kitchens with groceries, cleaning dishes, and emptying dishwashers.

  • Perform general maintenance and upkeep of lab facilities. Some examples of work include cleaning, restocking labs with hardware, taking out trash, putting away and organizing tools, painting, and performing minor repairs such as replacing air filters or ceiling tiles

  • Order groceries online and pick up as needed.

  • Assist with local pickups and deliveries using a company vehicle.

  • Receive and distribute packages within the company.

  • Provide support for events and field tests including setting up and tearing down equipment and furniture.

  • Use hand tools, such as screwdrivers, to assemble furniture, hang TVs, setup cubicles, and perform minor repairs such as fixing cabinet handles

Requirements:
  • US Citizenship is required

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with varying priorities

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Ability to climb a ladder

  • Basic handyman skills, including ability to use a screwdriver and assemble furniture

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Position may require occasional travel

Job Details 
  • This will be a 3-6 month contract position with potential to turn into a full time position 

  • Work hours are 9am-5pm and 40 hours/week and this role is 100% onsite
