Job Description
This position will report directly to the site Plant Engineering Supervisor responsible for the Lexington, Burlington, and Plymouth MA Locations. Collectively, these sites make up a total of approximately 260,000 GSF within business park settings. The position will be based out of the Lexington, MA site, located at 2 Forbes Road. This site consists of 22 acres, which supports one primary building totaling approximately 96,000 SF. The Lexington Site provides support to three different business areas utilizing general office space, manufacturing facilities, environmental testing facilities, clean rooms and R&D spaces.
The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and capable of working in a collaborative team environment and individually .The successful candidate shall have experience in and be capable of the following:
  • Carpentry
  • Sheetrock installs and repairs.
  • Painting
  • Doors and locks
  • Basic Diagnostics skills
  • Assist other trades people in work (Plumber,HVAC,ect.)
  • Suspended ceiling repairs
  • Light moving and rigging.
  • Snow removal
  • Snow shoveling
  • operating a snow blower
  • Ability to stay after hours or come in early (occasionally)
  • Crouching down -climbing ladders
  • Carpet and vinyl flooring repair.
  • General computer skills
  • General ground and building maintenance.
  • Working inside and out in all weather conditions
  • Working with power tools
  • Willingness to learn new skills / obtain certification,(DOT shipper, waste water operator.)
  • Able to pick up and move at least 50 pounds.
  • 100% on site work

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Carpentry skills
  • Painting
  • Ability to bending down and climbing ladders
  • Basic diagnostics skills
  • Light moving and rigging
  • Snow removal
  • Snow shoveling
  • Using a snow blower
  • Ability to stay after standard work hours and come in early (occasionally)
  • General computer skills
  • Able to pick up and move at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in group setting and as an individual contributor

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Ability to obtain other professional licenses in future as needed
  • Wastewater- training provided
  • Dot shipper- training provided
  • Hazmateam- training provided
  • 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or construction
  • Learn about DI and Ro water systems.
  • Work from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches.
  • Sheetrock installs and repairs
  • Suspended ceiling installs and repairs
  • Doors and locks
  • General ground building maintenance
  • Willingness to learn new skills /certification in DOT shipping/ wastewater operator.
  • Carpet and vinyl flooring repair
  • Basic understanding of pumps, air and liquid
  • Knowledge in RO/DI water systems is a plus,( perferred)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $56195 - $89912
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
