Job Overview

Become the linchpin of clear, customer-centered messaging as part of the GTM Enablement & Communications team (within Success Operations). You’ll lead planning and delivery of external communications by covering product updates, feature launches, and deprecations and ensuring Relativity’s clients are well-informed, empowered, and ready to succeed.
You will elevate the messaging layer between Relativity’s product evolution and our customers’ understanding. As the go-to communications expert for external announcements, you will bring strategic intent, clarity, and consistency—driving higher adoption, reduced friction, and stronger engagement across channels.

Job Description and Requirements

Role Responsibilities

  • Draft, refine, and disseminate customer-facing communications including newsletters, direct emails, decks, and more.

  • Manage the external communications calendar, aligning deliverables with product release cycles and operational milestones.

  • Act as a strategic partner to Product Marketing, Product Management, Product Support, and Customer Success to ensure messaging accuracy and timing.

  • Serve as the communications liaison for external stakeholders, translating complex or technical changes into benefits-first, customer-ready language.

  • Monitor and iterate on communication processes—review workflows, approval paths, and delivery channels.

  • Measure engagement (e.g., open rates, community feedback), analyze effectiveness, and iterate for continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with the broader GTM Enablement and Communications team to support the full readiness process, contributing to cross-functional initiatives beyond communications to ensure customers and partners are consistently prepared for product and operational changes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, content strategy, product marketing, or a related function at a SaaS company.

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with a knack for framing complex topics in clear, customer-centered language.

  • Strong program or project management capabilities; adept at juggling timelines, input from multiple partners, and shifting priorities.

  • Familiarity with collaboration and communications tools (e.g., Asana, Salesforce, Confluence, Marketo) and comfort leveraging emerging technologies such as Copilot or other AI-driven tools to enhance productivity and content quality.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across internal teams and operate with minimal supervision.

  • Customer-first mindset: proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of anticipating needs and questions.

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
