Job Description
As an Experience Design Senior Associate for HR, you will play a key role in shaping Employee Experiences across JPMC. You will contribute to strategically important initiatives and new solutions that anticipate employee needs across their day-to-day and career journey. Your experience contributing to end-to-end design, experience strategy and inclusive design will ensure that our offerings are well-crafted, useful, usable, and accessible.
In this role, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of digital experiences for JPMC's employees across the globe for products, platforms, and technology supported by our HR function. You'll be involved in every step of the design process including defining products and features, presenting to executives and stakeholder, and delivering concepts, prototypes and detailed design. You'll do this by collaborating across product, engineering, accessibility, and research, demonstrating a growth mindset, and being a team player to peers and partners. These net new digital experiences launched will enable JPMC to attract, hire and develop top talent, deepen career satisfaction, and equip employees with modern smart tools that make their day-to-day work more efficient.
Job responsibilities
  • Define user flows and product features; Create wireframes, prototype interactions, and detailed design for key touchpoints for end-to-end design initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into the product development processes, and ensure seamless, user-centric solutions
  • Create storyboards, journey maps and/or service blueprints, collaborate with UX Research in identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement, and champion new ideas in products and features of moderate complexity.
  • Leverage your understanding and analysis of market trends, and both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to interpret insights effectively to influence your design work
  • Present your design work and POV to teams, partners and leadership keeping the user at the center of your story and rationale
  • Contribute to components and patterns in our Employee Experience Design System (EX-DS) using your experience and knowledge of modern design systems
  • Collaborate with our Researchers to scope and synthesize qualitative research, data analysis, and usability testing to inform discovery work, future-state blueprinting, service visions, and new product development
  • Operate with an iterative design mindset and incorporate user feedback and insights to continuously improve the overall user experience of our offerings

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in UX/UI/Product design or similar roles
  • Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma)
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels
  • Previous experience interpreting complex data and transforming it into actionable insights for informed decision-making
  • Proficient understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with a history of creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Case studies that demonstrate exceptional, world-class digital experiences (through low- to high-fidelity design work) that have contributed to positive business outcomes.
