Exempt Organizations Tax Associate

We are seeking a Tax Associate to support our growing Not‑For‑Profit industry practice. This role offers strong growth potential, an energetic and collaborative culture, and the flexibility to work near one of our offices or remotely.

As a Tax Associate, you will:

• Assist with preparing federal and state tax returns for exempt organizations and their taxable affiliates (Forms 990 and 1120)

• Support the delivery of tax compliance and consulting services that help clients maintain their tax‑exempt status

• Conduct foundational tax research and assist in drafting technical memos

• Collaborate with Tax Seniors and Managers to meet project deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

• Build strong client service skills through regular interaction with internal teams

• Develop analytical, organizational, and communication abilities

• Contribute to team initiatives and projects within the Not‑For‑Profit practice

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• Actively pursuing CPA licensure

• Interest in working with tax‑exempt organizations and learning the unique compliance requirements of the NFP sector

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
