What You’ll Do:

The Executive Protection Lead supports the day-to-day operations of CoreWeave’s executive protection and physical security programs, executing protective assignments and event coverage for the Executive Team.

About the Role:

This role requires adaptability and sound judgment in fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous situations, maintaining professionalism, discretion, and operational precision to safeguard company leadership.

In this role, you will: 
  • Execute executive protection operations for company leadership during domestic and international travel, events, and daily movements.
  • Conduct advance work, site assessments, and logistics coordination to ensure safe, efficient, and seamless movements of executives.
  • Ability to pivot to changing schedules, environments, and operational priorities while maintaining situational awareness and sound judgment.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Protection Manager and cross-functional stakeholders  (Executive Assistants, Security Operations, Workplace, People, and Legal) to align protective measures with company operations.
  • Perform ongoing risk, threat, and vulnerability assessments to inform protection strategies and travel planning.
  • Maintain exceptional discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality in all aspects of operations.
  • Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and local authorities as needed to ensure cohesive protective coverage.
  • Support CoreWeave’s broader Global Security & Resiliency initiatives, including incident response, travel safety, and crisis management efforts.
  • Produce clear after-action reports, operational documentation, and risk summaries following protective assignments or events.
Who You Are: 
  • 3 - 5  years of experience in executive protection, corporate security, or protective services roles.
  • Proven ability to perform advanced work independently, conduct threat assessments, and provide close protection in fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environments.
  • Exceptional situational awareness, decision-making under pressure, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international) and work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
  • High degree of discretion, integrity, and professional judgment.

Preferred: (if applicable)

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or intelligence roles.
  • Executive Protection Certification (e.g., OAT, ESI, EP Advanced, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with security technology platforms, GPS tracking, and threat intelligence tools.
  • Experience supporting executives within high-growth, technology-driven organizations.

The base salary range for this role is $98,000 to $143,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
