Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Provide strategic HR leadership for Nuclear business, ensuring comprehensive, contemporary, and effective HR strategies are executed in support of a dispersed workforce.
- Strategically collaborate with the business to build and deliver on a talent strategy that supports the growth of the SMR business AND the turnaround of the Installed base, relying on centrally developed data and analytics to fulfill the organizational needs.
- Partner with leadership team to lead the continued cultural transformation of the business, from a slow growth, risk averse, industry-focused culture, to a high growth, rigorous, operational culture, with the speed, agility and creativity required to maximize Nuclear’s role in the energy transition.
- Ensure the culture and strategy of the function aligns with and contributes to business-wide priorities and the GE Vernova Way. Be a major change agent in promoting our Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost culture. Focuses on safety and the life saving rules. Exemplifies unyielding compliance and ethical behavior.
- Collaborate with the Nuclear leadership team to develop a strategic workforce plan, building key skills and a pipeline for critical talent across the business.
- Leads with a Lean mindset. Leverages Lean in the quest to reduce waste and improve customer value. Practices and promotes Lean concepts.
- Supports organizational simplification, leveraging Lean methodologies to build organizational capabilities, contain cost, reduce inefficiencies and waste, and maximize performance across the business and HR function.
- Champions inclusion and supports the team to build deep, broad, and competitive slates and succession plans for roles.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and horizontally to the Power and GE Vernova HR function, including but not limited to talent acquisition, employee/labor relations, talent development, succession planning, retention, learning, employee engagement, and total rewards.
- Hires, coaches, develops and inspires global HR teams.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a variety of Human Resource or equivalent positions, both staff and client based.

- Master's Degree in business administration or human resources (MHR, MILR, MBA)
- Highly skilled at leading complex transformational change across multiple organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering global HR outcomes and working effectively across multiple cultures.
- Demonstrated influencing and relationship building skills at all levels of the organization
- Successful experience developing and coaching both senior leadership and HR talent
- Demonstrated ability to effectively link HR strategy to business strategy
- Experience leading and operating in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $350,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation and equity. Benefits include health and additional benefits.
